Well-organized campaign gives Voter Gravity-client big win

Faquier Now highlighted Rick Gerhardt’s win as the new Cedar Run District Supervisor in Virginia:

“I just can’t believe the margin is this big,” Mr. Gerhardt said about 90 minutes after taking 63 percent of the vote to win the Republican nomination and unseat Mr. Sherbeyn, whose first term expires at year’s end.

Like many of our clients, Gerhardt used Voter Gravity to run a winning small campaign. He won with 1,184 votes to Sherbeyn’s 685.

As stated in Faquier Now, “Mr. Gerhardt said he spent about $38,000 on his campaign, which included a local marketing agency, a temporary campaign worker, Voter Gravity mobile software, signs, ads, a website, social media and literature.”

Gerhardt attributes going door-to-door as the key to winning: “Up and down (Route) 605, I banged on doors at least four nights a week,” Mr. Gerhardt said. “At the polls, people basically would tell me they voted for me because I came to their homes. I had no idea, before this, how important door-to-door is.”

Congrats Rick Gerhardt!
